Limited to only 500 pieces, the Portofino Automatic Moon Phase 37 Year of the Snake (Ref. IW459604) features a 37mm stainless steel case and a striking burgundy dial. The red tone of the dial symbolizes the vibrant color of fire, often associated with Chinese New Year celebrations. The moon phase indicator at the 12 o’clock position is powered by an extremely precise mechanism, which will only deviate by one day from the actual lunar orbit after 122 years. The golden moon and stars, along with the watch hands and markers, create a perfect harmony against the burgundy background.
The watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured automatic movement, with a 5-day power reserve provided by the 32800 caliber.
